Tom Hanks is related to Abraham Lincoln from The Hank's line and he just recently found out that he has African ancestry as well as Portuguese

Also, the deceased US President Dwight Eisenhower was an Octoroon, his mother Ida Stover was a Quadroon, and his maternal grandmother was a Mulatto.

Abraham Lincoln was hiding nothing. He famously said that he didn't know who his grandfather had been, and that he was more concerned about "who his grandson will be." In any case, we DO have a (sort of) descendant of Lincoln: actor Tom Hanks, who is a direct descendant of Lincoln's mother Nancy, and so has a fair amount of Abe's genetic makeup within him. He even looks quite a bit like Abe.

the Lincoln look was very popular back then also he was very admire by the black community. The picture maybe real but it’s another person

Its a real photo. Its just not the president. The bone structure is different especially across the cheekbones. There is a resemblance, but not enough to claim the same man.

And Abraham Lincoln didn’t try to end slavery. He tried to restricted growth. He ended slavery in the south with their proximately emancipation proclamation, but that was only an executive order which means that it wasn’t Law so that was questionable. What actually ended slavery was the 13th amendment. And it didn’t end slavery in the north it only ended slavery in the southin the north slavery was ended by the different state legislators putting a date slavery would end. So they were people up in the north that was still slave up 1888.

Abe described his complexion in his own words in a letter he wrote to Josephus Hewitt. Who can question his own self description?

It would not be uncommon at that time for people who were recently free to take on attributes and try to dress and act like Lincoln.

I love the exploration. There’s several texts where Lincoln describes himself as dark-skinned, others describe him, his father and mother as such.

I was trying to scroll through the comments to see if someone already posted this. Too many!!! But Camille Hanks Cosby is a cousin of Nancy Hanks. It is said that Bill got the idea for an episode of the original Bill Cosby show (1969) from his wife's pedigree. "The Lincoln Letter" is my favorite episode. I used to watch it religiously.

I once read in a post under another video something written by a woman who used to work for the British Museum.

According to this person she said there were a fair amount (black depicted) art and artifacts of work hidden away. When she asked another co-worker about it she was purportedly told, "it's not what the public wants to see".

Ergo, it comes down to ticket sales and what stands to bring in the most money.
