My favorite King short story is Quitters Inc. from Night Shift. If you have ever been a smoker and tried to overcome nicotine addiction, I think it would be particularly appreciated. However, it's a great read for anyone who loves King.

I also really enjoyed N., that was probably the best one from Just After Sunset. I need to reread his other collections, but I think Night Shift is still the best one overall.

Some of my favorites are: Gramma, Jerusalem's Lot, The Last Rung on the Ladder, Why We're in Vietnam, and The Road Virus Heads North. But of course there are many more left unmentioned.

Full Dark, No Stars is full of excellent short stories

I’ve read a hand full of those stories. I think his best stories come from his night shift collection. Everything in that book/collection is gold. Thanks for accepting my friend request on good reads. Reading the taking by Koontz. Saw that you really didn’t care for it but I hope it turns out to be good.

It may sound corny to some, but after reading hearts in Atlantis it left me feeling a bit melancholic and pensive 😂😂 but in a good way. Great book.
