Thonglor is one of my favorites for the mere reason it was the second place I stayed . I think Ekkamai is the best place, location wise and living wise but too pricey as an owner. I particularly enjoyed renting a room 600/700 m. from Sukhumvit. Super quiet and affordable. Didn't have time to fully watch the first part. Will do soon. Nice commentary as usual.

Thanks for the video, I enjoy your walks :) Thonglor have been changing gradually for some time now into an even more affluent area. With that comes natural changes in preference, style and prices. As you can clearly see in your video. If it's good or bad is just a matter of taste. Obviously for those who move in and gravitate to the area or that vibe it's a good thing.

BKK is always the best, full of places to sit, eat and relax.
I saw you were sweating in the video. How long did it take you to put up with Thailand humid weather? You should do a short video that explain this. I mean LA (California) is quite hot too, but nothing compared to Thailand, and definitely not as humid as Thailand.

Please show us hows life during weekends in Thonglor...specially Demo etc. I've always partied in Nana, Khaosan, Sukhumvit 11...all these touristy places maybe i'd be keen on exploring RCA, Thonglor where locals venture. BTW nice Glasses and cap, Mayu's jacket is cool, she's so cute, looks very posh :)

At this point Sukhumvit and Nana have apparently dropped off aswell, owing to Thai immigration restrictions and the stronger baht. Do you know of anywhere specialising in deep house/cocktails? I read 'Glow' is highly rated.

As a thai ppl. RCA is very popular for young thai ppl and some foreigner a long time ago. Not about Chinese and Korean tourist at all. Then A lot of some ppl try to avoid tourist cause they're very noisy.

Demo seems to have a very young section that play hip hop and a very old section that plays house music. I felt out of place in both. I wish bangkok would allow cannabis cafes like how amsterdam does

I thought Thailand was a sort of safe heaven where drugs are absolutely prohibited and law is ruthless on drugs abusers/dealers.
