In this video I'll be showing you how to modify your PC to allow you to power internal components externally. This means that you will be able to connect hard drives and transfer data from them with ease, and even use other hardware like fans and LED strips so you don't have to pop open your case every time you want to test if something works.

If you want to take performance a step further with this and make sure that you are getting the best performance possible out of the SATA-USB conversion, then do some research into the different controller chips (bridge controller) available.

Having UASP support is a must, but quality still varies even within brands. From what I've seen, JMicron and ASMedia have some good quality controllers, but look around for benchmarks and then find adapters that use these specific bridge controllers.

Although it might take some modding to splice a molex lead in to power 3.5" drives, but that's just another challenge ;)

I must say these videos are professionally done, and I was shocked to see that you don't even have 500 subs. You are one of the most if not the most underrated youtuber. You definitely deserve more subs. And I hope you get big bro

In my case, it's a bit harder. I'm about to do this to my laptop... Any suggestions?
