Can confirm. I just bought one. I never thought I would own a Corolla. Especially after owning a Ford F-150, Mazda MX5 Miata GT, Audi A6, 4th gen 4runner, Ford Mustang, Camry, 5the gen 4runner limited. 3rd gen Tacoma TRD Sport, two Lexus ES, and a Wrangler JL. I am blown away by the little Corolla. It’s almost as fun to drive as the Miata, but almost as comfortable as the Lexuses I’ve owned, and much quieter than any non-luxury car I've had. It has Apple CarPlay on a big screen, made in Japan, near hybrid MPG, standard Toyota radar cruise control and radar cruise control, and big digital dash, heated seats, garage door opener, smart key push start, etc and many more. And it’s one of the cheapest cars that I’ve owned, and probably one of the most reliable. It’s one of the best deals of the decade for cars!

When a Corolla is being compared to a Mercedes Benz, you know that the modern 2021 Corolla has come a long way from the cheap basic econobox it used to be in the past. The higher trims of the 2021 Corolla do feel premium and are surprisingly fun to drive.

My first new car out of college was a 1987 Toyota FX16 GTS with the MR2 twin cam engine, cat back exhaust, K&N filter, and MSD iginition. I really miss that car.

I have exactly the same car but 2022, comes with heated seats and steering wheel plus a place to charge a second phone located in front of the gear shift. This is the best Corolla that Toyota ever made and I’m a Honda guy owns a Type R 2001 championship white.

Nice review. I have the 2019 version of this SE model, and my worst pet peeve by far is the overall cabin NOISE. I've had it for over a year and i can't get used to it, especially on the highway. I can't believe toyota put so little attention to this part of the driving experience. Will be looking at aftermarket soundproofing. otherwise its a fun little car....

I got the 6MT 2019 XSE. You’ll have to short shift every gear to get 41 on the highway. Same motor. I drive 42 miles on the highway for work one way. I average 35.

add more HP and torque and they will have a really fun car . Have a 2019 SE and it is a great car to drive .

if you get all the growth from the seller cause you know him you get "everything" free and a huge 125 000 km or 7 year warranty, with an open contract so you can pay the car in less time if you wanted to ;) just gotta find the right place, trust the proper seller and study your shit before you even think about buying!
