Beowulf by Maria Dahvana Headley - short excerpt

I read the first few pages of Maria Dahvana Headley's "new, feminist translation of Beowulf", an astounding book which gave me goosebumps from the first few lines. Apologies for the crappy quality and flaky start - I did it as a Facebook Live reading to a few friends, very quick and dirty.
