These are Derwent Inktense Pencils which are water-soluble like watercolour pencils, but harder, have a stronger colour and dry to a permanent finish.

where the pencils you used just regular colored pencils? or where they watercolor pencils or special in any way?

I wonder if you leave it to dry for 24 hours and pop it in the dryer (tumble dry) afterwards would it then still allow the colours to set in permanently?
