I didn't really use Miiverse for Miiverse much, but I will always miss how alive it made the Wii U's main menu with the Mii Plaza, whose games shown were based on what was popular at the time. Without that, it just feels... empty.

I found my Wii U in a container after years of not using it. I cleaned off the dust took it home and turned it on. The sound I got from it powering on literally brought chills to my spine. As I was 8 at the time of getting one for Christmas. I am now 16 and the amount of nostalgia that came from it almost had me in tears. Just memory after memory started flowing in. I couldn’t even speak. I am deeply upset they ended Mii verse because it would’ve been nice to go back and truly see what it was like after all those years.

I joined miiverse a few days before the closure announcement (which was on the first week of August, if I remember, I joined in late July), I was really active in the pokemon xy and YouTube community page, really did wish they kept it up for longer but looking back at it, I think I could see why they shut it down

Also miiverse was still the best ever social platform imo

I wish I could have used the service but I didn’t get a Wii U until 2020. I hope some day I will be able to use it when Wii U mods come out.
