There was one time my sleep was irregular and I had sleeping spells during the day and I based my sleep tracking log on a narcolepsy sleep log? Instead of writing out all the numbers you just put an up arrow when you get up, a down arrow when you get in bed and you hatch off the time you were actually sleeping (since awake and up are very different, just like in bed and asleep)
Just a thought! Less tedious too, if anyone reading comments is intimidated by the cramps
