I'm bothered by both sides of the issue that conflate the 2. "the cold snap is the NorthEast is due to climate change" or "the hurricanes are more frequent because of climate change" are claims I see on the news, not just a twitter post (granted from the most prominent guy in the world). Those also lead to a lot of misunderstandings between weather and climate.

Lots of people confuse weather and climate so it’s great people know the difference when talking about Global Warming.
