you want as little speed on him as possible because he builds up stacks by getting hit, so you can also go for def% on his boots. orb def% is better but if you want a tiny bit more dmg for a bigger shield loss, go for dmg% orb.

Me after pulling both Clara and her lc in permanent banner yesterday after E6 herta with her S5 lc and losing my 50/50 4 times to Himeko AND pulling Before dawn 2 days ago AND having a full relic and lc set already leveled for Aventurine on my trailblazer AND randomly pulling out an imaginary damage salsoto with defense sub stats and saving it on a whim. Oh yeah, it's all coming together.

I have Aventurine and his card. However, i am trying to decide to keep him the Argenti or try and build up my dan hung dragon form. Only trailblazer 40, i think, is the right way to explain it. *Had an account for a while and only how just got into the game. That is Aventurine's fault* so i am still kind of a noob to the game and not really sure what i am doing. I do play genshin. so i am kind of working with that knowledge i learned from genshin.
