First month is the hardest the college life can swallow you up! Budget the fun

One thing you could do is put a over the door shoe organizer inside the closet and use command hooks to hang it. Use it for small items. I have done this several times. Also get an egg crate or foam topper for your bed will be a lot more comfortable. I know here in the states most kids will use risers for the beds to create more storage underneath the bed.

Welcome to Guelph! Move here with my family from the farm in the Atwood Listowel area back in the mid 80s (actually work out the 1 Stone Rd Complex). My daughter went through U of Guelph back about 10+ years ago, she was over in the East residence. If you are looking for food earlier; there`s Micky D`s and Tims on Stone Rd (about a 5 minute drive) across from the mall. Symposium opens at 8 am (near the Tims, behind Petro Canada) they have a great breakfast... ate there a few weeks ago. Also Deny`s just opened up a few weeks ago though they are on Woodlawn take the Hanlon all the way - turn left and they are on the right.

Good video Jess. I would keep some jerky in your room providing you like jerky. Get you some cheese sticks as well. Maybe some fruit and nuts. Those would be some good snacks to tie you over as well. Stay safe and have fun. I'm so happy for you.

You will LOVE college. It will be the best 4 years of socializing along with studying of course. Now that my 2 sons are off to college, they hate it when I try to hang out with them when I am delivering "school stuff" that they forgot. They want me to drop it off and leave asap. So nice of them. Jess, this a new start. Take some time to plan out/write your goals. Block out time in your day to accomplish these goals. Habits are the power and clarity you need. To not waste time. Habits are lame and quickly go no where or create good habits you will be more accomplished, strong, confident in building your life. Good luck !
