The Ritom power plant in Ticino, which was built in 1920 and is located only a few kilometers from the Gotthard Tunnel, is in need of renewal. Since 2018, a number of contractors from the Marti Group have been working on this overall complex renovation on behalf of Ritom SA.

Give your digital engineering and media team a raise. This is an outstanding video!

This might be the most interesting, concise, and beautifully animated technical video I've ever watched.

If Oscars had a category, this for sure would win. Watched it with awe.

I like how they talk about the engineering aspect but also make it a point to give credit to the skilled laborers. These men are doing some incredibly hard work, my respect.

These transitions from animation to actual footage is unreal. I agree with the comment below, the team responsible for this video deserve a raise. Well done to all involved.

This was a fabulous presentation. I was expecting to watch maybe 5 minutes of this but then I spent the whole 32 minutes giving my wife the play-by-play with each new development!

This is easily the best corporate video I ever have seen. Impressive feat, great storytelling, and a lot of technical detail. Kudos to Marti both for the film and the tunnel. I have learned a lot from the video.

The graphics and transitions in this video are of such high quality it's unreal. Congrats to the team that produced this.

It takes some great production value to get the average person to sit through a half-hour video about digging a tunnel, but I was absolutely fascinated! Amazing work by the whole team of engineers, tunnelers, and video production team. Thanks for sharing!

This short movie is no mere documentary. It has humour, drama, moments of despair, ingenuity and triumph. Absolute perfection.

This has set my bench mark for construction videos. Fantastic animations, self acknowledged dramatic music, no back stories of the workers, and even though its a promo, the branding is part of the story and not forced. I'm a cynical old prick but this was good enough for me to leave a positive comment.

In fifty years of oilfield down hole work I wished that I had this kind of animation instead of my crude drawings to explain down hole problems. Thank you all for this.

This was actually so well made I didn't know it was a corporate video. This is so well made it's incredible. As someone else said, give your media team a raise! Also the guy with the trumpet at the end is the real mvp

The production value on this was simply amazing. I love the transitions between simulation and real-life. I also appreciate - as someone who's worked on oil drilling rigs and all sorts of heavy industrial areas - the mention of how hard the work is and the working condition for the crews. That part often gets left out of those videos, as they tend to focus more on the engineering and technical aspects of these projects. It's difficult to make someone who's never worked in those conditions appreciate exactly how loud, dirty, heavy, hard, dusty, and dangerous the work really is, day in, day out, from start to finish. You did a good job, well done, and well done to the crew!

As an Instructional Designer I GREATLY appreciate the script, editing, animations, and overall work it took to make this video. Incredible work… the tunnel is cool too 😅

Firstly, congratulations to the team for drilling tunnel with such precision.
Secondly, the digital team who simulated the entire process with overlapping real world imagery was mind boggling, such fantastic job.

I worked on the first TBM ever made by Robbins, U.S.A. 1958, 2.8 metres diameter. It was used on four tunnels in Tasmania and last used in 1987-1988 on the longest tunnel ever bored in Australia, Mangrove Mountain 10-6 kilometres, 1 in 100 up, with a best metreage of 326 metres in a six day week. Who ever would have believed that you could build and execute a TBM on a slope of 42 degrees? Phucken incredible feat of human endeavour and engineering. A great vid, best I have ever seen but an even greater team of tunnellers. Well phucken done to you all. Regards Rory, Tasmania.
