This thing looks like a back killer, is it really necessary to bend over like that while its engaged? Is there a better designed machine on the market? I have about 20K sq ft and would like to be able to walk next day.

I rented this machine from Home Depot for $72 / 4 hours. I hated it. The drive trane (chain) is on the left side of the machine.... it pulls very hard to the left. Also makes deeper holes on the left than right. Not a good machine.
