TUSCALOOSA -- Game day at the University of Alabama is going to look a lot different this coming Saturday. On-campus tailgating isn't happening this season, meaning fans won't be congregating in their usual gathering spots.

Some fans said the tailgating ban won’t stop the enthusiastic atmosphere that comes with Alabama football games.

On-campus tailgating is not be permitted on the University of Alabama campus for the 2020 football season. Fans also will not be allowed to gather in public parking lots, the Quad, Moore Hall, Little Hall, Presidential Park, Ferguson Lawn or any other on-campus area.

“It'll be very different,” said Tuscaloosa resident Alexis Phagin. “I think it'll change the football experience a little bit, but not too much.”
