this is literally the only good review on this camera on YT that shows it needs to be used in bright light and with 800 film. brilliantly done thankyou

I really appreciate that this review acknowledged the user error at the start rather than just saying "Oh it's a bad camera". This is a great video and both sets of photos are honestly incredible, but going through the "proper" way of shooting it and showing what's possible was so valuable. Thanks for taking the time to do it right!

Getting into film photography quickly turned into getting into camera repair, so this camera seems like a relief

Those are solid photos! I love cheap little cameras like this. No fiddling with lenses and gear — just take pictures.

I've always wanted to look into film photography for fun, and I guess now this is my sign to do so. Thank you :)

The photos of the OR coast put a huge smile on my face. It’s my number one happy place ♥️

I’m glad Ilford made this camera! Hopefully this gets a lot of beginners into film!

Seriously SO excited about receiving this camera, I love that it’s plasticky cause it’s light as a feather. Plus it looks cool. And the quality is so good!

And before you discount a toy camera folks check out what Nancy Rexroth did with her plastic Diana camera in Iowa back in the 1970's. Tremendous photos! Anyway, thank you Miss Moment for the video! It's great to see this UK 1879 company still in the game after a hundred-and-forty years of making film. Oh - and like the beach pics!

What film did you use on the second use? 400 or 800? Loved both I'm so used to using 400 so want to make sure you used 400 the second time as well!

Thanks for sharing this video. After 50 years of shooting film, and having way too many pro cameras expensive film cameras in my closet, collecting dust, I bought a point and shoot a couple of weeks ago. I did the same thing. I went out and shot a roll; and had so much fun pointing and shooting, and not really thinking about anything except composition. I'm thinking about shooting 1600 instead of even 800, two more stops will get me in a realm of reality at somewhere between f4 and f5.6, theoretically. Please stay well. By the way you're a great photographer. This proves that it's more about the person behind the camera than the camera. Right? ;-=)}

I love the idea of Ilford making cameras. One with a few more bells and whistles would be nice for myself.

8:04 was at ecola & cannon that first sunny day after the snow storm, choosing to believe that's me slouching around the beach

Took up film for the look and to slow down and think of my shot more...now I may want to slow down even more and just go fullsend into not worrying too much. Just to..be there. In the ~moment~ if you will.

I came here to check this camera, but I stayed for the amazing cinematography !! not sure if it's the camera or post work but the greens (and the whole colour work) in the video really appealed to me. I love it !
