For everyone having extremely recent problems w/ pairing as of Feb. 8th:

The Switch software update made the connection to PoGo broken unless you restart your Switch by holding the power button for 3 seconds and choosing Restart. Worked for me after all the years of research :'D

The issue is the damn switch itself. I have an Iphone and an android an neither one will connect. I have rebooted all 3 of them tried the connect troubleshooting steps everyone suggests and still nothing. I have wifi turned off, still nothing over BT. I got this to work once for both of these phones a few weeks ago and that switch icon you guys claim is in the top right corner goes away after a while to not connecting to the switch. It was there the 1st time I got it to work and now is gone so you have to connect once for the icon to be there in the first place, The BT on the phone works fine and connects to all kinds of things so the issue is the BT on the switch. Anything I do I just get an endless searching for account.

Mine doesnt work it just stops at 80% and gives me a communication error each time can some one please help me and also my Pokeball + wont connect as well it get flashes red each time and my phone shows No available devices under the Pokeball + options in GOso i will need help with that too i have reset the ball but it just doesnt want to connect

for some reason my game won't find my account. no clue why. im doing everything right Bluetooth on and everything.

Update - Note user pull down notifications menu an slide to second screen and click on s pen remote to disable it. That should get your pokemon go to link with the game!
