Overheated toe tapping rocker was a popular seller in Australia for the British band (then known in the U.K. and elsewhere as ‘Matchbox’).

The track, provided with generous amplification by recording engineers and featuring an energised drumming performance by band member, ‘Jimmie Redhead’, peaked at the #12 position on the subscription only, ‘Kent Music Report’ (the forerunner of today’s ‘ARIA Charts’), during a long run of 20 weeks.
