Thank you for doing your part exposing these loser scammers, education is important so the elderly do not lose all their money.

Looks like she needs to spend less time at Harry Potter land and more time learning how real life works!! Why is she doing any banking electronically when she obviously knows nothing about keeping her information safe? She needs to get rid of her cell phone and computers and do everything face to face, she's not ready for the future yet!!

There is a sender and a receiver on the transaction. Also if your Bank doesn't actually call you to verify the transaction for your and their relationship they should. I have had those calls and told the person I was going to hang up and call the Bank back to verify.

That is not a loophole. It was her mistake not anyone else. If Chase reimbursed her for her loss, the rest of the customers would pay for it. Too many people these days are looking for someone else to fix their mistakes and expect someone else to pay for it.

You fall victim to fraud, your bank isn’t supposed to bail you out. They aren’t at fault, you made the choice with your money.

I hope I look as beautiful as her when I’m her age!

It’s her fault not the banks. Why should the bank be held accountable for someone else’s stupidity? It’s common knowledge anyone calling you about your account is a scammer. Hang up and call your local branch to verify.

People need to stopped using Chase or any other well known bank chain as their banking. Because of their huge popularity and loophole scammers could pretend to be from there. In this case the scammer already had her info, they just need to fool her into getting passed all the bank security verification, once she gave it to them that's when it happen.

She is the thief. She is attempting to steal (scam) her bank. She sent the money willingly.
