I read a rumor that in No Way Home when Aunt May stuck the serum into Norman’s neck, it was supposed to make him green like the comics but they scrapped it and simply said “it didn’t work”

Yeah real shame they didn’t cover dafoe’s performance as the goblin. Especially with a thick metal mask.

The armor mask was the better call in my opinion since it let him give a better performance with his facial expressions for when he took it off rather than a face mold

I wish they have him some prosthetic during no way home. William De Foe is so expressive, but a little make up and some enhancements would take his performance over the edge.

Eh i like the way they did it the way the chemical altered his mind into a split personality that's very obvious in the movies is a cool way to show a "monster" that's really just a person

I think it's fine to have an actors face covered up because they can use other ways to get across they're emotions and yeah it sucks a little that we don't get Willem face shown alot but I think his acting makes up in other ways like his body movements or his voice

Im glad it was changed. Not only does the armor look cooler, but also if he looked like that, then you wouldn't be able to see Willem Dafoe's fantastic acting performance. Dafoe is what makes this version of Green Goblin my favorite Spider-man villain.
