I was pissed when my mother in law came in the room SECONDS after I had my baby took him from the doctor and sat down with him for 5 min before I even got to see or hold him I was furious absolutely LIVID .

I feel like people don’t understand that Pao lost their first child. With postpartum on top of that, yeah, she’s going to seem a little overprotective and irrational.

That’s call “postpartum “ educate yourselves people. She feels like if someone gets him she will lose him some people don’t understand her feeling but I do.

To be fair, her mother in law was really rude to Pao. If my mother in law ever treated me that way, I wouldn’t want her holding my baby either.

I think she has issues that go beyond the aftermath of a miscarriage.

*I rather a mom like This, than a mom who hands her baby off to everyone, expecting them to take care of them* 🙄

I actually understand her point. When my baby was born my mom and my aunt literally took the baby away from me supposedly because they were trying to help me and I ended up just washing baby clothes and bottles. I so regret not telling them how I wanted things to get done because those precious moments with your newborn won't comeback

In my culture, no one really touches e baby for the first three months. They're immune system isn't developed and the parents are still adjusting. I had to explain this to my in laws. It's really not about the family yet, it's about the new family getting it together. It really is her job to keep the baby from being overstimulated and she's still like bleeding and healing from that. Life is not a Hallmark movie.

Its her baby. Doctors even recommend no visitation for six weeks after baby is born. Let the mom bond with her baby....

do people not understand how crazy a women’s hormones are after having a baby. I was the same way. hearing too many stories on how family members or friends would hold/kiss the baby and it ended up dying from herpes and the parents had no idea someone they were friends with or even related to had that. it freaked me the hell out. and with my hormones all over the place that didn’t help either. you just want to protect your baby as much as possible.

She’s probably having postpartum anxiety. I had that too. I thought the dr would take my baby if I didn’t answer their questions correctly. I thought people were following me.

I had a miscarriage before my living baby. Which I think made my anxiety worse

Give her a break. She is expressing her sadness losing her child and looking at her baby reminds her which is causing more stress and post partum depression.

I completely agree with her. It’s bonding time. Everyone else can wait!

How long does she think the grandma is going to hold the baby? I can tell this is going to get a little messy

Her as a mom: No, nobody can hold the baby!
Me as a mom: Can someone take this baby?!

Sorry people need to understand, almost every mom goes through this. When SHE is ready, she will let you know when she is ready, but people really need to stop forcing her to hold the baby. Let her bond.

She shouldn't even have to justify herself, it's HER baby !
