Japanese food has been labeled as healthy, low-fat, and well-balanced by nutritionists and dieticians throughout the world.

While all this is true, what few people pay little attention to is what lies behind this healthy eating: the mindset and attitude towards food. In Japan this mindset is formed from a very young age. In the modern day and age, where both parents go to work and rely on the care of daycare centers, nurseries and schools, children learn about food thanks to the carefully prepared by specialists in the field meal plans.

This Wednesday, Jake Nalton, Principal of Milky joins Tim Sullivan and Maya Matsuoka Way International Preschool for a talk about things you need to know about nutrition in the Japanese early education system.

Join the livestream at 8:00 am Tokyo time on September 25 or watch the recording later wither on YouTube or LinkedIn.
