I was a prosecutor in Boone for a little over 5 years. I knew Sergeant Ward - to me, he was just my friend Chris - and I met Deputy Fox not long before I moved to another state. I'm going back to Boone for the funerals next week. My heart is so broken for Chris's wife and daughters and for Logan's fiancé.

This is why I so hope that the Tatum general fund is created for fallen police, front line workers, EMT, ambulance drivers, firefighters etc especially in the line of duty. If BLM can raise 90 million we can double that..

There was also a NYPD officer named Anastasios Tsakos who was killed Tuseday morning. Let's keep these people in our prayers and remember to respect these Police officers who give their lives in the line of duty.

Sick of looking at my phone and it's an alert about another one of my brothers or sisters losing their life in this job. It's always bugged me but what makes it worse is the lose of their life in a society where their sacrifice goes unnoticed. Or worse, people celebrate the lose of an officer.
