Lateral Load Test
Показать описание
Here is a video of our subsidiary, Becho, Inc., performing a Lateral Load test in Fresno. What does that mean? A load is applied to a pile to test the lateral deflection, this is a test to see how the piles will react in situations such as an earthquake or a train collision. The apparatus pictured applied a force, and then an equal and opposite force is applied by resistance, which makes the “Sled” slide backwards. The team then tests and records how much the pile moved under that load.
