I'm happy you mentioned that it'd be more revenue if it were a long form video, because a lot of people are leaving that out when they're talking about shorts nowadays. Don't get me wrong, shorts revenue is bonkers low (I've made $208 on a short with 2 million views), but longer form is considerably better in the RPM department (although we'd all argue it should be higher... 😂).

The value of being on YouTube has any ad revenue. It’s the ability to give a call to action to your product, like your course or a product you’re getting paid to promote. So I look it YouTube as a way to build an audience, find out how you can serve them, and promote your product to them.
