Y'know what, that other game in the short, Coral Island is an actually legit game for real. It's still unfinished and still have many rooms for improvements but I definitely did enjoyed playing it. Can't wait for the full final version to be released soon.

honestly harvest moon friends of mineral town is such a great game, basically like stardew and concerned ape probably took a lot of inspiration from it

In 2017-2019 I worked on a historic sail boat that did oceanic voyages. Some of the passages from port to port were 40+ days. I was the first to get Stardew Valley on mobile, and for weeks and weeks, there was a SDV group and we all were at roughly the same point in the game. You can imagine that after a few weeks, there’s not much new to talk about… but the sdv club were all gossiping about the game’s characters like they were real people. 😂 we were all full adults, but Pam and Shane’s alcoholism, Alex’s pressure on himself, and the mysterious potential affair between Caroline and the Wizard got us through a lot of long night watches and hot work days. #nostalgia
