TIDIRC: Research Approaches in Implementation Science

This lecture provides an overview of qualitative and mixed methods approaches to D&I research and highlights ethnography in the research process. This session is part of the curriculum for the Training Institute in Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer (TIDIRC). Research on dissemination and implementation (D&I) seeks to address the gap between what we know can optimize health and what gets implemented in practice by understanding how best to ensure that evidence-based strategies to improve health and prevent disease are effectively delivered across settings.
