You have no idea, Randy, how Rich it is for me to hear your talks.
Very encouraging to hear men like you say that you learned to play by listening to records.
That's exactly how I honed my chops playing the drums.
Now I'm working on guitar .
It's such Therapy to me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Lenny Breau may have been the best guitarist I’ve ever heard. He was so versatile but virtuosic in any style or genre he chose.

Was in the Calgary airport in Jan 2000, with a group of Red Wing fans. Flying to Vancouver on the next leg of our fan club hockey trip. Randy was flying back home (1st class on the same plane), after doing a benefit show in Toronto. I was the only one in our group of about 40 that recognized him. I went over to him, shook his hand, and thanked him for all of the great music. Memorable moment for me!

I bought Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s “Not Fragile“ album in 1974 when I was 13 years old because of the single released from it titled “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet”. When I heard the song “Sledgehammer” it instantly identified the type of music that spoke to my personality and set the groundwork for the music I’d follow the rest of my life. That one song!

That one song, taking care of business, and rolling down the highway, perfect and never aged. Like the way he puts out the background of classic stuff

Wise words, you're a good player and you followed your passion not only the money. Wisdom can not be bought but has to be lived.

I saw Bachman Turner overdrive at the warehouse in New Orleans. I was right in the front. They were absolutely great, and I was really impressed by the drummer.

Way cool 😎! I learned how to play by listening to records, also. Initially I played the flute. Then I found Rock, and Roll, guitar 🎸. To me, playing guitar 🎸 is just like breathing. Bless you. Peace ✌.
