This is part 2 of the "Orange Bag Hoarder" locker that I bought for $910 plus fees through an online storage auction website. It's dirty and mostly trash, but I found a few good things in part 1, but everything changes as I find gold and jewelry that he stashed in garbage bags. It's mind blowing!

I love the treasure hunt aspect. The best stuff is found in junk bags. Specially when someone else pack the stuff. One mans trash is another mans treasure.

Okay Jack. I gotta tell you a true story from my past.

My folks bought a home when first married for $10, 000 and paid $80 a month until paid off. It was located in a decent part of Kansas City and it was built in 1900. Our next door neighbor told my folks a crazy old lady owned the house before them, passed away, and her children sold the home to my folks in 1959.

In the home was an old fireplace that was sealed up with a huge piece of marble covering the fireplace, but the mantle piece and fireplace surround was a beautiful piece of walnut, carved, and surrounded this huge slab of marble. The neighbor told my folks the old crazy woman was paranoid and hid money somewhere in the home. My mother never would let my father disassemble the fireplace, but the people that bought the home from my parents, disassembled it. Inside they found a large yellow envelope with approximately $18, 000 in it. My folks were sick about it because they were not wealthy, early on in their marriage. My mother was stay at home and my father worked at a car wash.

Whoever owned the costume jewelry had good taste. If any of you have never shopped for or bought costume jewelry, it can be pretty expensive for 'fake' stuff. I'd wear 75% or more of what I've seen so far. She took excellent care of it....a little overboard, but look at how great most of it looks. Nice finds, IMO.

You’re our favorite tv show! We love how excited you get. Our fun comes in trying to figure out the owners story. I could tell early on these people vacationed in Vegas and on cruise ships. Looks like they bought jewelry onboard, and checked through the coins they got on slots and kept the old ones. I have seen other older people throw their change in bags after shopping and throw them into drawers or closets. Family didn’t check, just threw it in bags. Hope you find lots more!
