In this video I am going to test the cheapest action cam I found on Amazon.

I bought this camera for only $29 on Black Friday and brought it to the Swiss mountains to test it against my GoPro Hero 9. This cheap action camera reminds me on a GoPro HD Hero or Hero 3 because of the buttons. A surprisingly good feature is the battery life. I started the trip with 3 bars and ended it as well with 3 bars, whereas my GoPro Hero 8 and my GoPro Hero 9 both went home with empty batteries.

Hey jan, happy christmas and new year to you! Can you please tell me your opinion on an issue I am facing in the playback process of my latest recording. While recording a bmx track a green line appeared on my screen and in turn it transferred to the playback. It occurred a couple of times. So I have not continued to use it since to record. Any ideas what this issue may be? It is the first time for my experience of this. Thank you.

Cheap cameras usually only work good in bright sunny environments. Not only do you have full sun, you also have snow everywhere which adds to the brightness. Unfortunately not everybody has that type of environment. You get what you pay for. Thanks for showing.

Awesome vid! I think as long as it's waterproof and durable you can make a cool video eh. The $$ for gopro is because they keep innovating. Adding hypersmooth, time warp voice control etc but if you simply wanted to shoot video then a standard one should be fine! 😁🤙

I am very impressed by this cameras performance two years ago when I did the same my model ended up shooting 420p and after 25 sec recording the files corrupted. 😅

I love it!! Sold. It has its place. Before we know it, you will be doing videos about gopro hero 12! I love my Hero 7 Blacks! They Rock! I'd love to see you or Peter McKinnon do a challenge and use your skills and talents using only a $29 action cam. Edit in post etc..Be. creative and resourceful. I bet the results would be amazing.
