I HAVE A GALAXY S 8 AND RECENTLY GOT TO PUT IT THROUGH THE ROPES AT A WEDDING. I AM TOTALLY AMAZED AT THE QUALITY OF THE STABILIZATION OF THE VIDEO AND THE CLARITY OF THE AUDEO AT 20 FEET AWAY.

I actually switched from Apple to Android a couple of months ago when I traded in my 6S for a Galaxy S9, and I haven't regretted my decision in the slightest! You were spot-on in this review and I have to add that the battery life is surprisingly great for a phone of its size, not to mention that even when missing out on the S9+ dual-lense camera setup, the S9's single-lens camera is still spectacular and it allowed me to really get fantastic shots on my summer vacation in NYC! The one soul complaint I have so far however is the fact that you cannot remap the Bixby button, as I personally prefer to use Google Assistant over Bixby. Now I have a useless button under the volume rocker that I could potentially remap for Assistant, hopefully Samsung fixes this in a future software update.

I’ve had mine since it came out and it has caused me to sell my Nikon camera (the S9 takes better, more consistent photos ) and I’ve always been the one to wait for a generation or two before I get something. T-Mobile made me a deal since my V20 died that I couldn’t resist and I’m so happy with this phone.

The download speeds are amazing, the radios in it much better than iPhone, LG and Motorola phones I’ve test it against. Like you said, the display is 🤩🤩 that good.

Negatives? Unless you have a case on it, I really feel (like most phones) a drop would be a disaster .

Thanks for the video! Take care, bill

Omg I've been trying to fix the redness on the Galaxy s9. It's because I use Mac. All of these other videos and you are the only one that said something about it. Thank you

The Dolby atmos is awesome. It sounds Amazing with the 2 speakers on the phone. If I’m listening to music or watching a movie I can hear it come out of both my ears. It’s like I’m wearing headphones. Amazing.

I argue with everyone about how great the S9+ is. No phone is perfect but this is close in my opinion. I just don't know what else they can do to top what's already on the market. That goes for all of the flagships they're all good

Well, your deal-breaker is actually the mac problem -.-'. Just get a real computer.

Let me start by saying I just found your channel a few days ago and I think your videos are awsome. Now, I just bought the S9 plus. I left the Iphone world a while ago back when the S6 came out and have been with samsung ever since. I'm not in any way saying that the Iphone isn't a great phone, because it is! But the upgrades to the S9 camera in my opinion put it at the top. And luckily for me... I'm a windows editor and I feel the S9 plus will be a great addition to my dslr and mirrorless camera. Thanks for the great content!

Keep in mind you can always plug in an external mic as well since I know how obsessed you are with a good audio haha. Image quality is definitely why I love my Note 8 not only does it have two sensors so you can have what they call live Focus kind of like a constant 3d effect. Also because the performance so great you can do a lot of your editing right from the phone. I can kind of understand your frustration between switching from iOS to Android as I just bought a 12.9 inch iPad Pro, but really I only bought it for flying my Inspire 2. I do like that it has iMovie already on it, but I need to find some kind of video editing program where I can do that audio overlay that you did the demonstration on so that I can sync my audio with the Drone footage. So far the only idea I have is using a separate mic to record and using a sound slate.

I’ve been waiting for this review! As you know I’m Samsung phone user for quite awhile however I don’t do the stuff you do with it. Glad you think it’s worth the being said I’ve experienced trouble flying my P3S at times...very frustrating!

No matter how much I tried for a couple years I could not make myself like android. I did love both of my Galaxy phones and can say without a doubt the S9 smokes them. As much as I enjoy using my phone for pics, my DSLR get used much more.

I enjoyed the video... question tho... what about iMessage and the stable iOS-first App development eco-system? How did you do with that change over? Those two things are what scare me the most about ditching my iPhone. iMessage and rock-solid apps that were designed for iOS first. (I mean, I'm also a bit worried about the slow OS updates and repetitive bloatware from Samsung, but feel like I can probably deal with those)
