The world of guitar kits its hard to know which company is the best and which aren't.
Here is my experience with Guitar Kit World. In my opinion they have the best kits and customer service available today. Although other kits may also be very good GKW's customer support and plethora of instructional videos puts them over the top.

Is it the camera angle or does it look like the D string saddle would hit the body route when depressed?

Love the way those JEM kits came out -- nice job! Out of curiosity, with the other JEM guitar (I wanna say it was the BYO one?) did the white Dimarzio branded pickups come with it or were they just labeled Dimarzio and were actually just stock "fridge-magnet" humbuckers? Or were those something you added yourself?

I can say this ...Over the last year I've gotten to know the GKW community support as they visit my channel time to time. I told them I had planned on buying a kit from them soon. I entered last few weeks ago the Bald Shredder giveaway sponsored by GKW. As soon as I saw Guitar Kit World I was like oh hell yes. Wouldn't you know it??? I actually won. If the CSupport wasn't already amazing enough and all their videos as you mentioned being so much more added value, they also emailed me and truly put up with my worry about not being sure how to go about the giveaway ordering process. I was a basket case for a week when it happened with stuff at home happening. Hahah. Last thing I wanted was to forfeit such a great opportunity. Then FB support they have got in touch again telling me to check my email. Bam I got the step by step instructions. I had a chance to pick the one I wanted too. That's The inner musician with my own fair share of GAS couldn't even make a decision. I mean holy crap the selection is nuts. The first one I thought was LP style since I've been dying to try one. Then I realized that what if I don't really care for the LP style now I'm stuck with a kit guitar I build but may not be able to bond with. I'm sure I would have liked it tho hahahahah. Next was PRS. But sold out ...only had the FR style which judging by reviews and your video I seriously doubt I would have regretted. However the JEM was staring me the whole time. I'm surely. So far anyway, a strat / super strat guy. Until I try another type. Then my son in law I called and told him. He was excited to help. He told me to think about building your first one as something you already know you love and that way you have the guitar to keep for life you built ...Sold. So I went with the HSS Super strat Top Bound ASH body flame top veneer....I have it right now sitting in the box. I have to open it up and review it and make sure all is ok from shipping. And announce I won the bald shredder kit giveaway. I am so excited. Then when my son in law and I get the time. We will build this thing Now I'm stuck on red trans top and natural back or vintage trans white top and natural ash back or oil the whole thing and just get it built. Hahahah so undecided yet. But I can always repaint later. Anyway thought I'd share that with ya. Awesome job !!!! Any pointers ??? PS my son in law is a very good guitar tech and player. So I'll have his help. But I'm not sure his experience with paint. Hahah mine is not more than car painting one car and maybe model car. Hahaha 😅😅

Those trems are still very cheap. 100 buck give or take will get a gotoh licensed floyd like the jem 7
