This sped me up from 390-400 mbps to almost 450 for my home internet. Very nice thank you. However, I cannot access authentication type as it is blacked out so I can't change that setting on my S23 Ultra.

Easy mode: Settings -> Connection & Sharing -> Private DNS -> Private DNS Provider hostname -> dns.google -> Save.

Thanks very much for this video. I'll try this tip on Pixel 6 which is on the Smarty network. I used to use my pixel 6 as a hotspot until I got a TP-Link 300Mbps 4G WiFi Router, cutting-edge Mobil WiFi Router 4G Cat4 LTE Network which is the Smarty network and it is slow and on the weekends it gets congested. Alright its legit speed went up from 25-30 Mbps to 70-75 Mbps (Mb-Megabits not to be confused with MB-MegaBytes) but ping went from 3-4ms to 7-9ms i guess thats a fair trade off.

Static IP also makes you more susceptible to hacking since your address always remains the same even when you reboot. If speed is that important to you, go for it. I wouldn't!
