Join Allison and Eric Bieller from the US on their road trip in an electric campervan. Departing from Munich, Germany, they are traveling through Austria to the Italian coast, before returning to the Bavarian capital. The range of these types of vehicle generally degrade unless you're in stop-start traffic. They generally have kinetic energy recovery systems (KERS).
The Autostrada is not the natural home of the electric vehicle.

When you’re in a very public area charging your vehicle, is it possible someone could just take out the nozzle and use it for their EV? Is that why your car didn’t charge while you were eating perhaps?

with this type of charging infrastructure. I think electric vehicles is not the type of vehicle of choice in the next 5 Gas/Battery hybrid is the way to go

EV charging seems way too much like work in Italy. Not very relaxing to be hunting down charging stations in locations you know very little about. Seems a bit stressful and time consuming.

These two seem to be a little picky and anxiety ridden, especially for two people that travel for a living, you would think they would either prepare and research or expect things could go wrong and during international travel it is multiplied 5 fold.
