This summer I traveled throughout Europe with my girlfriend for 50 days, making stops in 18 cities across 7 countries (France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Monaco). I love watching "What I Spend in a Week" videos & you guys have been asking to share what I spent on travel this summer! Hopefully this provides some insight into what a trip *like ours* across Europe might cost. You can absolutely travel more on a budget, but again this was our trip of a lifetime! I included some travel budget tips/trip planning tips throughout the video, but I can answer any other questions in the comments.

These prices are insane. I've just booked a 10 day 3 country trip for £300 which includes flights, coaches, hostels and trains for the whole trip. Hotel prices really are wild!

When you think of it divided by two people it's 15 k approx, and then subtracting the flight costs and again for 60 days that's essentially a little over 200 dollars a day, which for someone who wanted to splurge on a trip of a lifetime to remember in their 20's it's totally worth it! congratulations :)❤

Wow Morgan!! i greatly appreciate all of the transparency with this. this is hands down one of the best informational videos for a euro trip. I hope you get tons of views on this, it is apparent how much work you put into this!!

Hello everyone, this is a good guide you are planning a luxurious trip. However my partners and I traveled 30 days throughout 13 cities across spain, france, italy and germany and you can make the trip por aforable. For 2 people 30 day including EVERYTHING (and flights) was about 8, 000 USD. You do not have to spend soo much money to have a good time, i had an amazing time, ate great food, always had a private room at hostels, it is do-able at a cheaper buget.
For reference we did go to "expensive' cities: rome, naples, pompey, positano, milan, venice, paris, masella, berlin, munich, fussen, barcelona, madrid

For another budget perspective, I just spent 6 weeks in Europe (7 countries 14 cities) for $5100. Traveling Europe can be done super affordably!! So please don’t think you need to save $25k before you can do a trip like this.

If anyone has ANYTHING negative go to say, I would highly recommend going to all her videos from her destinations first. The places they stayed, things they did, food they ate, experiences they created - about $15k for all that in Europe in the summer - not bad AT ALL!

Would love a follow up video on how you planned this trip Morgan! Did you have a spreadsheet you could share that kept you organized with travel and itineraries?

I've always wondered how much people spend on their vacations and have never known what is the appropriate amount to splurge/indulge on a trip . Love how transparent you are about it!

I agree with the majority on here…thank you for the transparency. Something you very rarely ever see with travel videos on here. You have truly helped me a lot because I’m planning on either Greece or the amalfi coast for next year. It’s a bummer that they are on the higher tier of expense. But the same way you guys saved and made it doable that’s exactly how I’m going to approach it as well. I usually pre-plan and save so this will be no different. When it comes to travel it’s always money well spent.Thank you again so very much!!!

I'm a budget traveler, so I found this so interesting to see what the costs of a more luxury travel style would be. Love your transparency and the breakdown of everything. So well done! P.S. I've lived in Mallorca for 4 years and you have to come back. There's soooo much to see and do on the island. But for me, July and August are absolute hell. So I recommend coming back at basically any other time of the year. The water at Cala Llombards is usually complete turquoise water, but in August the algae makes it turn green. Happens every year. So definitely come back! xx

Being someone who is incredibly organized and makes a google doc for all trips - I LOVED THIS. This is the transparency people need when booking travel (especially internationally)! Thank you for this and all the time spent on it!!! Looked like an unforgettable trip ❤️

I did 76 days in Europe over the summer on a fairly inefficient itinerary - Netherlands, Finland, Portugal, Spain, Croatia and Belgium. I Was fortunate enough to have been hosted in several cities by good friends. Total spend came out to around 12, 000 usd. Festival tickets and hotels were the biggest expenses. 😅

I definitely expected it to be less but I think the number in my head was pretty unrealistic 😂 Honestly you’re one of the few people I would trust to make a video like this. So so so so so helpful whether you’re taking a short trip or the trip of a lifetime. Honestly what I’m most impressed with is that you were able to save that much money in less than a year! Amazing video as always ❤️

Morgan, I love how transparent you were with this!!! I gotta say, I’m not sure what I expected, but this was cheaper than I would have assumed for what seems like such a lovely, extensive vacation. Props to you and Jezzel for working so hard and setting realistic budgets for yourselves to plan this dream trip!!

It's like the universe knew I needed this video! 😍My boyfriend and I are currently planning a month long Euro trip to some of the same places for next year. Thank you for being so transparent with all of your expenses! It's really eye opening as to what we can expect to spend. 🙏🏼

The pics of your trip ! It looks absolutely fab and totally worth it. Do it while you are young and have that throw away money because as you get older you have more responsibilities which adds up to more money and of course retirement to save for. Everyone deserves a vacation/time like this in their lives to look back on and make all the struggles worthwhile. Do it while you can !

Kudos for sharing such a transparent and useful breakdown! I feel like we never see this kind of honesty hand in hand with amazing travel vlogs. Thanks for sharing this!

This is so helpful to see! Breaking down the prices makes something like this more tangible as opposed to aspirational. Saving this for later! Thanks Morgan!

Just a friendly tip for future travelers if you are in the US, the Charles Schwab debit card has no atm fees :) they will pay any atm fee back so it’s AMAZING if your doing a trip like this and it a card with no annual fee.

Loved this video! It was cool to see a different style of travelling Europe, and a little window into a travel style i havnt experienced before!
If anyone is watching and thinking that they could never have this kind of money (like me!) know it is absolutely possible to travel Europe for this time period for waaaay less! It can be a very cheap place to travel :)
