Popular Laptops boot hot keys
Dell: Tap F12 when the Dell logo is displayed.
HP: Tap F9 when the HP logo is displayed.
Lenovo: Tap F12 when the Lenovo logo is displayed.
Toshiba: Tap F12 or F2 when the Toshiba logo appears.

Since the past 3 months I was trying to install Chrome OS (the legit Chrome os and not Fyde OS or Chromium or some other shit like Cloudready...-_-), and this is the only video I found which worked for me at a single go. Small ask on my side: I would like to keep the USB on my device when I turn off from ChromeOS, but my computer reboots itself and connects again with ChromeOS. How can I adjust it so it only powers off from the USB loaded ChromeOS ?

Love the setup instructions.
I ran this on an old Inspiron 11 3000 series and on the chrome setup screen, saw it would not pickup any wifi signals. The wifi is switched off and would not come on and detect a network. Suspecting this might be the Broadcom drivers issue. Any suggestions apart from an external wifi dongle?

Good guide. Managed to boot from USB without problems. However, whilst it ran fine in "Guess" mode, it never seems to be able to complete my sign-in to my google account. I suspect my USB Flash drive read/write speed is too slow. I will try using a fast USB drive (e.g. Sandisk Extreme series)

Thanks. Great video. It was all going so well until i decided to install the Chrome OS on my laptop / wipe my hard drive (from 11mins in your video), but the install failed. Now i have neither windows nor Chrome OS on my hard drive. The laptop will no longer run Chrome OS from my SD card (but it will on another laptop). What can i now do to install Chrome OS on my laptop thanks?
