If you're having trouble with the inbuilt laptop wifi card not detecting the wifi, I've found success with USB dongles with the 'Ralink rt5370' chipset. Tried a few from UK Amazon, and all found the wifi and connected.

Hope this helps!

I have a unique problem while attempting to install OS Flex on my HP Notebook - 15-af006ax, after the Chrome OS flex logo my screen start flickering like a damaged one and nothing i can see in it to allow any operations. I tried 20+ reboots but still same. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, and is there a solution to it? It's worth noting that my screen works perfectly with Windows, but only flickers when I try to install Chrome OS Flex.

not a lot of use if you have a 32bit machine, i dont class 64bit as 'old' ....so not really for 'old' machines..

Chrome OS reaches the so called “end of life” and then your device becomes kinda’ useless…how about the Chrome OS Flex, is there an “end of life “ or support for this too? I don’t expect 20 years but my Chromebooks reached EOL after about 4-5 years only
