I am still getting caught up on your past podcasts....first of all a huge congraulations to Dan for an all clear on cancer....so very happy for you and your family. When I saw that mint green hat that you had on, Kay, I thought what a pretty hat and then you said Dan didn't like it...so I thought that was funny....and the scarf you had on was very nice too.... and the giraffes are very cute...

Kay your pink hat looks beautiful on you, that color really suits you.  Dan I am so so happy for you getting the all clear.  You must feel so relieved.  I think you should both buy a lovely little cottage by the sea where you can sit and knit and play the drums all day long, now wouldnt that be fabulous.  Having horrible neighbours is awful.  We have been rather lucky with ours and we all get along, play cricket and football in the street, have meals together and our kids get along too.  I like hearing the 80's music too as I was a teenager back then and used to tape songs off the radio and trying to miss the talking bits from the radio announcer at the end.  Fergal Sharkey was a memory I had long forgottten about, lol!  Have a super fantastic week both of you!

My daughter wants me to knit a Giraffe as soon as the pattern comes out. I have your bear pattern, but have not yet attempted a toy. Your patterns inspire me. Also, the squirrel pics at the end were fabulous! Nice photography.

First. I want to say I am so very happy to hear Dan is doing better. I prayed for him ever since I heard he was ill. My prayers may be late but I know it always helps. I want his health to continue to improve.
You asked about Brach's Candy. It has been in the US since I was a child. There was a stand in the store isle with many sections and each one had a different kind of candy in them. You would get a Brach's bag and put what ever flavors you liked into it. It would all cost the same and was sold by weight. The one the yarn looks like had three layers. The top was chocolate, the center was white (coconut) which I hate lol and the bottom was pink. I would never eat this one but my sister loved it. Thanks again for the fun :) xo

Kay - I watched how you tension your yarn over your hand and figured out how to do it too so now I'm knitting so much faster than I was before because I would drop the working yarn after I knit a stitch and then I'd pick it up to knit another one. So, thank you! :-D
Dan - You mentioned what's in your oven and it reminded me that I had put english muffins in my toaster and I'd forgotten them, lol. Thanks for the reminder. :-)

Omg you had a "yarn down"!  That was too funny!  I knew all the music this time.  In my defense, the 80's were my coming of age decade so it's the music I love most.  Falco, haven't heard him in forever.  Kay, I LOVE Sam Smith and Stay With Me too.  One of my current faves, such an amazing voice.  He reminds the hubby and I so much of Boy George, who we both adored, such strong vocals.  So glad you're back, I've missed you so much.  Hugs!

Hi Dan and Kay I have just found your podcast about two days ago and have been binge watching and am totally hooked on your podcast you are both so lovely and I love the way you bounce off each other. I know I have loads more to watch but I watch when I'm at work ( I look after 2 children in the evening's ) and I have got loads of knitting done 😀.I also wanted to say that I so pleased that Dan is well, even though this podcast was 2014 it just reminds me of when my husband was given the all clear from Cancer it was the best day. I've watched all the episodes of your podcast over the past few days and I've really enjoyed them. I'm so glad to hear that Dan's had the all clear, that's fantastic news. I can sympathise with the having noisy neighbours thing, one set of our neighbours have two big dogs that bark and howl constantly and another set are always screaming and shouting and banging about. I'm desperate to make a bakery bear so I might buy a pattern tonight and maybe a bakery bear will make an appearance in my next podcast! Well, I should stop waffling on now so that's what I'm gonna do. Can't wait for the next episode!
