Maaan that last tip totally blew my mind. I do not play the guitar but the violin and I am a singer. When I sing, it's absolutely no problem to get that blues feeling into my voice but with my violin it's always like "How do I get that cool blues rhythm into my fingers? Why does it sound like a child's song though I am playing the right pentatonic, blue notes etc.?" It's just the thing to make the clever breaks!! thxxxx

You are a remarkable teacher !!! I've been learning from your creative approach. It's always blow me away when you think you know it all or good enough to play on stage, then you go to a dive bar. You check out the band, the first set your like I can do that, then as the night goes, the guitar play leaves the planet and you want to quit play guitar because your not worthy enough . I toldly respect the working musician.!!! That's why you call it the blues.
