Last spring, I met a African American Special Forces Vietnam heart surgeon, now a 80 year old veteran. He told me a story of how he earned his wheelchair. While on active duty he Jumped from an airplane (airborne) with his service dog, a poodle. Something went wrong and he hit the side of a mountain. He was separated from his service dog. While telling me the story I noticed he was drawing on a paper. After he finished the story he handed me the paper. It was a labled diagram of a human heart. He then ripped the paper up and threw it away. Today I also try to diagram the human anatomy as scale as possible from memory. Thanks Dr. Webb. Keep up the good work. Hooah!

As a radiology resident I would advocate looking at the radiographs or cross-sectional imaging for your patients. This is also a very helpful way to review your anatomy!
