Hardworking Dad Has Tickets Dismissed By Court.

Local rideshare driver Henry Martinez is a hard-working dad who's just trying to provide for his family. After receiving several red light tickets, Mr. Martinez finds himself in Judge Porter's courtroom. When he tells the court his story and presents his case, Judge Porter decides to help the young man out and dismisses all the tickets from his driving record.

Judge Porter, your view is very valid re red lights. If it is blatantly skipping a red light, it's a danger to others, but if it is for safety reasons or making space for an emergency, it should not be a ticket. Sometimes when I travel at 4:00 in the morning to catch a flight at 06:00, I also don't stop at a red traffic light. I go slowly, check for other vehicles, and drive on. It is just too unsafe to stop.

Love to know what Judge Porter said to the Officer

Something similar happened to me except with a parking citation in NYC. So we were just having dinner with my dad’s cousin and then when we finished and went out, I saw that the car has gotten a parking citation even though we placed it in the front side of the car where the officer can see it. I mean this is seriously unbelievable. We paid for the parking pass, placed it in the car where the officer can see it and he still gave us a $35 ticket.

I thought this was a REAL show... NOT! This guy is the same guy I just watched on Judge Porter who was a cop and set up a man by planting a gun in his car. Now hes a Uber driver... Same name (Martinez), same guy, just changed clothes... Done
