Love this tribute. Roger Moore has been and always will be my favourite actor in the role of 007. His films were pure entertainment and he was simply superb - nobody does it better - ever!

It's so heartening to see genuine appreciation for this GREAT 007! After Dalton he is my fave. My mum was a theatre manager and I saw Live and Let Die at least a dozen times on the big screen. Love Sir Roger.

Good work. Moore - especially from the ''Spy Who Loved Me'' - is the right man at the right time.The only problem is the age. Because the actor playing Bond is not enough to feel youthful and plays as a freshman, but also to be young ( not very ). In a ''View To a Kill'' - at least - must play Dalton.

Sir Roger Moore,  past away in Switzerland, on May 23rd, 2017 at the age of 89.  Born In London, October 14th, 1927, as a son of the Policeman and a housewife.
Sir Roger Moore was my favorite brilliant British actor, since I remember .... even If I was living on the other side of the >Iron Curtain< in communist country.
This a very bad "news" .... it caught me in
Canada, and instantly made me so SAD here ., ... :o(
The really important thing about Sir Roger Moore is, that he will be remembered first and foremost as a gentlemen, who always treated others with respect, plus … an excellent UNICEF Ambassador !!!!
Sir Roger you were the last of a breed ...

Hidously camp, OTT plots were everyone wants to rule the world, outlandish gadgets, becoming way to old before leaving the role and barely done any of his stunts..

But god damn it you can't help but love Moore's Bond. xD

@doctorw2 How did Dalton not have class??!! in 'license to kill' he enters Sanchez's casino, and by being slick, sophisticated and suave, he makes his way to Sanchez's private study... Lazenby does a terrible excuse for a British accent, whilst portraying Hilary and gets found out by Blofeld. Bottom line, if that film was redone in Dalton's time, he would nail it.

@doctorw2 You clearly decide that you prefer Lazenby's Bond because A: You just have bad taste. B: Your hardly a Bond fan (or you only care of the films' portrayal) C: You have no clue about the books. D: You have no idea what a good actor is. And E: You like being alternate and making everyone turn their heads in shock when you say that you 'think Lazenby is the best Bond.' As a true fan - I have a hard time deciding who is the best - but I'm certain of who is the worst - Lazenby. Many agree.
