Syagrus romanzoffiana 'Litoralis' Robust Queen Palm, Silver Queen Palm
A robust form of the Queen Palm from Argentina, Uruguay and Southern Brazil, where it is found to over 1000 m (3300 ft.) altitude, with a thicker, sturdier trunk that supports a large, dense crown of arching leaves with particularly thick and wide leaflets. It is very hardy to cold and is said to survive temperatures down to -9°C (15°F) undamaged.

"Santa Catarina" haven't proven much hardier to me actually. At least at a young age. I also didn't notice much of a difference in appearance. Your litoralis looks actually more attractive to me, because as of off experience thicker and stiffer leaves in palm tree variations are almost every time linked to being hardier. I'm trying to get one and try to get it going in a 8b/9a climate.

This is the same palm tree, Queen palms vary a lot from each other. Trunk width, frond and leaflet characteristics, etc. Some have very stiff leaflets while others have much softer ones but it's the same one

I have 2, 3 strap Santa Catarinas. I’m super curious about the difference between that and the silver. Some say they’re the same some day different. I’d like to get a silver also. Where did you get the silvers? Your Catarinas coming from Wanderlust?

They're both regular Queen palms. They can vary in appearance a bit from one another.
