TOP TEN POKÉMON YOU SHOULD MAX OUT FIRST in Pokémon GO!!

In this video, I will be counting down the top ten Pokémon you should max out first in Pokémon GO. These are Pokémon that have a significant amount of usefulness in Raids, Gym Battles, and PvP once it is maxed out.

Of course, maxing out any Pokémon to the current highest level of 50 requires a significant amount of Stardust and Candy. Thus, make sure you prioritize any of these Pokémon before any other. I also suggest you only max it out if it has perfect IVs. This is of course because the Stardust and Candy investment being so high, you don’t want to regret powering up one Pokémon only to end up with a better one later on.

Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. A part of the Pokémon franchise, the game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It uses the mobile device GPS to locate, capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location. The game is free to play; it uses a freemium business model and supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 500 by 2019.

Pokémon Go was released to mixed reviews; critics praised the concept, but criticized technical problems. It was one of the most used and profitable mobile apps in 2016, having been downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide by the end of the year. It is credited with popularizing location-based and AR technology, promoting physical activity, and helping local businesses grow due to increased foot traffic. However, it attracted controversy for contributing to accidents and creating public nuisances. Various governments expressed concerns about security, and some countries regulate its use. By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018.

I would add some honorable mentions:
-Groudon. It has good ground type moves and very high max cp.
-Dialga. I'm casual pokemon go player who doesn't have very strong pokemon, and every time when i see dialga in master league i know that i have already lost.
-Togekiss. Probably best fairy type in the game and fairy type is literally the best type in the game. Also good in master league.
-Zapdos or Raikou. They have very good electric moves and good attack. Zekrom is worse while attacking, i prefer other electric fast moves over charge beam due to horrible dps. Also magnezone is 4x weak to ground.
-Mamoswine. With powder snow it can spam avalanche all the time, and is not very hard to get.
-Rhyperior. Rock is one of the best attacking types in the game and Rhyperior with smack down and rock wrecker *wrecks* anything expect grass and water types. If you don't have the resources or patience to do so, you could also make army of over 2000 cp rhydons very easily with cost of 25 rhyhorn candies each.
-Azumarill. Not really maxing out, just for great league. It is so tanky that it can win too many different pokemon in 1v1.
-Entei or charizard with blast burn. You never know when you need good fire types. Entei might be a bit hard, so charizard is cheap choice.
-Roserade. With razor leaf it kills swamperts, rhyperiors, etc.

3. Either Shadow or Mega: Swampert, Ttar, Venusaur

Melmetal is a solid pokemon to upgrade, and it's relatively easy to get candy.

I think Aggron and Tyranitar are also honorable mentions. Both are incredibly powerful, and even though both have a lot of extreme weaknesses, in many cases they can be absolute powerhouses.

I also think a maxed out Sylveon is also deserving a spot on the list, as Sylveon is one of the best fairy type Pokémon along with Gardevoir, but is not weak against bug and ghost and actually strong against dark types.

But your list is cool nonetheless!

I find the lack of Swampert on this list disturbing.

Lucario is hands down my most used pokemon. I use it in raids a lot, every single gym, and almost every rocket battle. Super powerful, and you can use either Shadow Ball as a coverage move OR Power-up Punch as a bait move against rocket leaders (of course Aura Sphere as the other charge move). 100% worth every candy, debating getting a second one tbh

I think fighting type are the most useful when it comes to offense and steel is the most useful when it comes to defense especially in the battle league cause you never really know what you're going to be up against. Too bad Lucario has such a low CP 😢 But mega Lucario is sure to be bad ass 😉

I've been playing for a while, and can confirm that every single pokemon listed here is absolutely in the top 15 or so. Awesome vid. I've got a conk that's about level 45 and lucky, shiny, and 12-15-15 and he's been my buddy for well over a year. Love that thing haha. Also saved up and distance traded to get over 1000xl gible candies, currently have 4 level 40 garchomps, will eventually max them all to 50 : )

Some of these are very hard to max out and take alot of time, machamp is hell of alot easier to get candy's for + the free evolve from trading should make the list as the difference in stats is next to nothing

Honostly should be the key great league mons as there is almost always a GL or GL gimmick cup during master league stretches. Azu/sableye/stunfisk/venu etc. next I would focus on building to ultra league once you have a comfortable selection for GL, if you want cheap think along the lines of shadow etc. if you have the resources max stunfisk/umbreon/ninetails a/talonflame/jelly/ mandibuzz. Master league start with dialga and work from there, the primals and gira O are a great branch off, then zacian/melmetal and now zarude. Good luck trainers! See ya at legend!

I agree. Togekiss is definitely a dark horse in game. Super tanky and does the job well

I start to cry everytime i hear someone mention Mewtwo. I played almost daily for 5-6months now and i havent seen as much as a trace of any mewtwo, is it a unobtainable mythical legendary pokemon of the past or what?
