My god I pray that Alina wins. After watching the documentary "Of Ice and Flame, " I now look at Alina with a whole new level of respect. When she talked about her parents not being with her and wanting to be successful in order to help them almost made me cry. Such a sweet soul and mind, doing all this for the ones she love. Praying that she gets the gold.

I am frankly disappointed by not only the comments that are posted on every single one of your videos, but your video content as well. I am saying this as a huge fan of both Yuna and Evgenia. No matter how much you love Yuna Kim, you have to accept that her time is over. She has retired. The world records will never stop being broken, this is how it is for every single sport. I agree that Evgenia is not technically on par with Yuna, but Zhenya's mistakes aren't unique to her. I am seeing below that people are happy for Kaetlyn's bronze (I am as well, it was well deserved), but she also took off on the wrong edge for her lutz in her short program. It's not their fault that judges don't take off for it. Furthermore, I firmly believe that Evgenia's artistry does surpass Yuna and Alina and any top skater. While it's undeniable that Yuna is artistic and graceful, every single one of Zhenya's skates tells a story from start to finish. She takes us on a journey, and so easily has the audience on edge for 4 minutes. Alina tonight smiled through her jumps- she just doesn't have the emotional maturity that Evgenia has (it's not her fault, she's only fifteen). All skaters who have made it to the Olympics are undeniably talented. Zhenya, Alina, and Yuna top this category. Where Evgenia falls short technically, I absolutely believe she makes up for in her incredible acting skills. Please, please, please stop trying to pit figure skating fans against one another. Yes, congratulations to Alina, but you have no idea how Evgenia must feel right now. She was unbeaten for two years. For two years, she was the obvious Olympic gold medalist, there wasn't even a question. And all of a sudden, Alina moves up to the senior level and starts beating her. On top of that, Evgenia suffered a foot injury just a few months ago. Evgenia skated last today, she was second after the free skate, and she had been her country (and ice skating's) sweetheart for two years. She used to be able to fall and still know that she would be miles ahead of her competitors. At eighteen, it's unclear whether she will even see another Olympic games. Alina is still viable for 2022 and probably 2026. When Evgenia finally cried at the end of her free skate, you could feel all the pent up pressure finally let go, pressure that had been building up for months. Alina was amazing tonight, it's so rare to be able to perform an unplanned 3Lz-3Lo, but please, congratulate Alina without bringing Evgenia down. Evgenia took her defeat with undeniable grace, and it pains me to see all of your followers laughing at and mocking her. She (and any other top figure skater) have worked so much harder at their craft in so little time than most people do in a lifetime. After today, you cannot doubt that both girls will fight for the World Title. Evgenia will work tirelessly to improve her technique, and Alina will continue to mature into those component scores. When I look at all the heartwrenching comments bashing Evgenia, I do not see people who love and are invested in figure skating. I see people who have only been told bad things about a wonderful skater. Take your win tonight, but please reconsider how you tell your fans to feel about Evgenia.
