Tacview overlay with an explanation of the maneuvers is great - makes it much easier to understand; Appreciate the condensed info on the topic and cadence.

Fantastic video. Clear concepts and animation make easy to understand it. You are not a fighter pilot but you know how to do the thing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

This is a good summary of so many other videos and information out there. It has good animation and use of visuals. I was sceptical before since this kind of video has been done 100x, but I like the compressed info style. Well done. A BVR video in the same style would be a great addition.

Great video....One further point on how/when this sort of information might be very relevant in future wars: Given the expense/time necessary to produce modern AAMs, it may be that a future major war with a peer opponent would necessarily experience a periodic revival of dogfighting skills and techniques, as the industrial/logistical network to keep such items available in the numbers needed might break down to the point that BVR would not always be possible.

That reason to increase the jet from 7.5 G to 10 G being only for emergencies - I think it is a pretty MASSIVE bad a$$ emergency if some other dude wants to shoot you down... 🤣

Thanks for the shout out! An excellent summary and I’m really pleased someone has taken up the baton! CFS trained by any chance?

What else than a merge u would classify as an emergency in real life? I think using the paddle during real life combat would be the norm since u only have that one opportunity to bend your wings before exploding into small piece.

Altho this stuff is all helpful the best way to get better is just to 1v1 other players. if you do it enough you do all the theoretical stuff without thinking about it

7:19 This is completely opposite of what the Air Force is teaching. I just don't understand why we can't get on the same page!!!
