For some reason Arie getting engaged again was boring. I am glad they didn’t dwell on that last night. Let’s get going with Becca and our upcoming season of the Bachelorette! That will be more sincere.

I thought it was pretty tacky that he proposed to Lauren with Becca still in the studio. What was the big rush? 💔

You're 1000% over your ex fiancee within the week?! Also, "he's not the best at keeping secrets?!" AND you didn't watch the breakup that's the problematic part of all of this?! Girl, I'm not sure you're completely aware of what you've committed to.

This guy made the best decision in his life changing his mind to pick her. I am sure Becca is also great but Lauren is so pure and beautiful and what a lucky guy.

If I’m Lauren I’d question why everyone hates Arie. What did he do or say to Becca when he broke up with her?? But then again Lauren is a blah! She’s perfect for Arie!

I think they've loved each other since they were filming the show last fall.  Everyone kept telling Arie he should pick Becca, even his family liked her outgoing personality, but on a deeper level he really loved sweet, quiet Lauren.  Best wishes to them.

When Arie broke up with Lauren you can see and feel the pain in her face and body language.
But with Becca, I didn't see any emotions. Becca's only concern was that she felt humiliated that he's breaking up with her to reconcile with Lauren. I felt Becca's tears were not genuine, looks as if she's forcing herself to cry and she didn't look hurt or angry when he wanted to break off their engagement.

Arie didn't realize how much he misses Lauren until he was spending time with Becca. That goes to show how much he really loves Lauren when he's always thinking about her even when he's with Becca. I'm sure for anyone to fall in love with multiple people at the same time would be confused and the fact that he's pressured to choose one person at a certain time frame. At least he's following his heart. Who are you to judge when you're not in his shoes? I do wish Arie and Lauren all the best and hope they'd get marry and live happily thereafter.

stop saying it was worth the risk, you took no risk. You had confirmation from Lauren before ending it with Becca which you’d never have the balls to do without

Lauren is exactly what Arie wants/needs.. she's submissive and easy to control. I don't understand why they brought back Arie as the bachelor in the first place. Peter should of been the bachelor.

"I feel for Becca. I didn't watch the breakup." -Lauren okay

Having Becca go through this experience as the bachelorette will probably give Becca more closure and understanding of what Arie went through! I wish nothing but the best for them all.

I think it's actually really worked out for the best for everyone - Becca the Bachelorette is going to be awesome 🙌

Arie is the living example of 'actions speak louder than words'. He says he wants this that and the other in a woman but we see who he decided to end up with. They will not last long and if they do, they deserve each other. A relationship with no sustenance. I mean Lauren literally never speaks and when she does shes not confident...her walk isn't even confident. SMH. Becca was too strong of a woman for him and he is just a WEAK man.

Lauren was always our pick for Arie because they seem to be soulmates but I think he was dazzled by Becca's personality like what he said she was the total package, but we love Lauren. She is quiet, a little shy, sweet, reserved, and perfect for Arie. He was dazzled and attracted to Becca as a man and confused it with love, but it was Lauren he loved all along. I think my first clue that she is very special to him was when he affectionately kissed her on the head, an unconscious act that demonstrated a much depeer regard that went beyond physical attraction. He just was so confused and didn't have enough time to sort it out. His family didn't help either because although they love Lauren they were dazzled by Becca too, just like Arie. So when Arie looked to them for guidance instead of assuring him about Lauren, they also went for the logical choice- someone whom they think is beneficial to Arie, and could get him out from such a laid back personality- someone vivacious, outgoing, very independent with a very strong personality. But they forgot that Arie is already 36 yo and set in his ways. I do believe that left on his own, given a few days to reflect, dated Lauren a little earlier on, or had one date with Lauren after Becca instead of dating Becca last when he was down to three choices, he would have been more sure of Lauren and picked her. I think there was an unconscious self-centeredness on Arie's part though because he was only concerned about himself all the way to the end of the show, forgetting that he could really hurt people and worse by saying 'I love you (even saying very much) to two people. Ben Higgins shouldn't have said it too. I love Sean Lowe's responses particularly when he said he wanted to say it in the end and make it very special to just that person. Anyway, I think Arie just probably talked it out with Chris Harrison and realized that he could partly make it up to Becca by allowing the break up to air guaranteeing her spot as the next Bachelorette, and another shot at love and with it tons of money, and for him maybe get another engagement ring in the process. He may or may not know that they will air the whole breakup without edit, afterall they cut a lot of film footage during the season. So cheers to Lauren and Arie. Cheers to Becca. If this didn't happen the way it did, Kendall would have been my choice of Bachelorette. :)

He followed his heart. He's not the first one to dump the "winner" and choose the runner-up.

The jokes on all of you that made mean and snide remarks. Hahaha!!! Now they are married and extremely happy. They have three beautiful babys. An adorable daughter she just turned two years old and they just had twins!! A boy and a girl. Its all on their YouTube channel. Looks like Arie was truly in love with Lauren after all. PS Like Arie said they didn't give them the best edits. Meaning they didn't show much of Arie and Laurens love for each other and played up the Becca part.

Would Lauren of become the bachelorette if Becca and Arie have stayed together? I do see a huge difference how Arie looks at Lauren compared to how Arie looked at Becca. They look happier.
