Read between the lines what he is saying is "Lauren is twenty five years old she is like a five year old who could not express herself and when I propose to Becca I saw the mature strong intelligent wome who was not gonna let me be a playa so then a bell rung in my head Lauren would put up with my madness, because she doesn't know how to avocate for herself.
He got scared and I seriously hope they last, but I highly doudt it.
That man doesn't know what he wants and looking at him he still looks scared.

Arie is not a bad guy. He had conflicting emotions and I think there was pressure from the expectation of being the bachelor to propose to Becca. He obviously needed more time to decipher what his heart truly needed....who the right woman was for him. I"m sure he had strong feelings for Becca....but he couldn't deny his feelings for Lauren. It was not easy for him to break up with Becca...but he did the right thing. If he did not break up with her, then he would have lived a lie and probably would have ended in divorce. Then all the critics would have lambasted him for having married Becca. With regard to public opinion, this was a catch-22 for him...darned if he did and darned if he didn't. But he had to be honest with his heart for both his sake and for that of Becca. He realized he could not give to Becca what she needed, what she deserved...He loved her enough to do right by her and break it off before making a huge mistake. This took strength and compassion on his part. God bless him. And God bless Becca in her future.
