I just find it so odd that Ikea doesn't make a 2 layer Lack side table. This is the perfect size and fits really well in all kinds of places. I'm going to do this soon, without the part that requires the saw

You could have just lined the extra legs up and glued them together for the bottom square

That is not Super Glue. It is the original Gorilla Glue. There is a big difference. Super Glue doesn't have the holding strength of the original Gorilla Glue which requires a little moisture to activate properly. It also expands while it is setting and can push apart your joints if not properly clamped.
