Farmers insurance has pulled out of Florida, leaving more people looking at Citizens (the last resort) as their main provider. Have you been affected by the recent changes in insurance?

I agree with PBD, California insurance situation is bad. But how come they never talk about their home state of Florida? Just as bad or worse when it comes to home insurance.

Mortgage underwriter here - CA homeowners insurance policies are cheaper than FL.
